The Boston Run Show will take place March 1-2, 2025 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center

Winner of the 2018 Boston Marathon and the first US women’s champion since 1985, Des Linden, is slated to join The Boston Run Show’s speaker line-up.  The running expo which takes over the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center for the weekend of March 1-2, 2025 will also collocate with The Boston Outdoor Expo on the same weekend. Tickets go on sale from September 2024.

Based in Massachusetts, the consumer expo for runners is dedicated to motivating the running community, from beginners to advanced runners and families who enjoy an active lifestyle. The community event is a celebration of running, health, and wellness and welcomes over 12,000 runners to shop over 120 brands. With the collocation of The Boston Outdoor Expo, the offering has doubled for the 2025 edition with more brands, new stage speakers, and hands-on activities.

Des Linden is probably most famous for her win at the 2018 Boston Marathon in treacherous conditions, headwinds, and torrential rain. Her win was one for the record books as she bested the field and braved some of the worst conditions in history. She went on to set the World Record for the 50k in Spring 2021, running 2:59:54. In the fall of 2023 Des set the US Master’s Marathon Record, running 2:27:35. She is no stranger to outrunning others in the field; she is a two-time US Olympic Marathoner, finishing 7th at the Rio Olympic Games and in 2011, she set an all-time U.S. record on the Boston course making her the third-fastest American ever at the time. An overachiever and known in Boston for her running achievements, The Boston Run Show team are thrilled to welcome such talent to the 2025 expo.

Linden will join a strong line-up of speakers including Barkley Marathon Race Director and legend in the Ultra trail running field Lazarus Lake, alpinist Conrad Anker, and Mebrahtom “Meb” Keflezighi who is the only man in history to win the New York City Marathon, the Boston Marathon, and an Olympic medal. Other speakers will include Founder of Running for Real Tina Muir, Boston Marathon Race Director Dave McGillivray, and podcast founder Kelly Roberts who will all share experiences set to inspire Boston runners.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore and shop from a wide range of renowned brands including popular names such as UYN, Runna, Runur Athletics, Inov8, Levelle Nutrition, Hilma, Bakline, Adidas, Aetrex, 2Beyond and many more yet-to-be-announced. The experience enables shoppers to discover and purchase from a wide range of high-end and small brands related to running, fitness, and well-being.
