In 2024, Running USA will be bringing the annual Running USA Industry Conference back to Orlando, Florida from Jan. 31 to Feb. 2. The primary reason for a return to this location is to support the 2024 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials, which are taking place in Orlando the day following the conference (Feb. 3).
Though there is concern about the choice of location, we want to remain clear that Running USA does not support the marginalization of any people, including by race, sexual orientation, neurodivergence or people with impairments.
We’ve selected Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort as our location, in part because of The Walt Disney Company’s “Reimagine Tomorrow” policy of inclusion, and their efforts to amplify underrepresented voices. You can read more about this platform and Disney’s commitment to these values here.
We will continue to share our specific plans to make the 2024 Industry Conference a welcoming, inclusive and inspirational experience for all attendees as the event approaches.
