Dan Monhemius of P3R named second recipient of continuing education award
(Dec. 30, 2019) – Running USA is pleased to announce the 2020 recipient of the Allan Steinfeld Scholarship, for continuing education of running industry professionals.
Dan Monhemius of Pittsburgh’s P3R will attend the 2020 Industry Conference presented by Race Roster as a scholarship recipient.
Introduced in 2018, the intent of the scholarship is to advance educational opportunities for deserving professionals in the running business.
“We know Allan would be excited to welcome Dan to our conference for the first time,” said Rich Harshbarger, CEO of Running USA. “Allan was a passionate advocate for the growth and continuing education of those in the running industry and it is a pleasure for us to be able to carry that legacy forward.”
“I am excited and grateful to be chosen as a recipient of the Allan Steinfeld Running USA scholarship. I look forward to networking with, and learning from, some of the best professionals in the running industry. The knowledge that I will take away from the conference will ultimately help me enhance our Pittsburgh events so that sponsors, runners, volunteers, spectators, and other stakeholders continue to have a world-class experience at all races managed by P3R,” said Monhemius, who works as P3R’s director of finance.
