PHILADELPHIA, PA (November 8, 2023) – Athletes, friends, and families are encouraged to check out these exciting new and returning partner activations scheduled to take over the 2023 Philadelphia Marathon Weekend race weekend. Activations will take place at the Health & Fitness Expo and the Finishing Area in Eakins Oval.
American Association for Cancer Research
The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) has proudly served as the title partner for the AACR Philadelphia Marathon since 2017. As the title sponsor for the AACR Philadelphia Marathon, athletes will have the opportunity to interact with AACR at the Expo where they will be offering information on how folks can support AACR and where Runners for Research registrants can pick up their race items.
Once again, Dietz & Watson will be joining the 2023 Philadelphia Marathon weekend activities as the title partner for the Dietz & Watson Half-Marathon. Dietz & Watson prides itself on being flavor for the whole family, and at the finish line of this year’s events, athletes and their families and friends are invited to enjoy a complimentary Dietz & Watson hot dog, sausage, and other fine treats. Dietz & Watson merchandise will also be available for sale at the Expo.
Rothman Orthopaedics returns as the title partner for the 2023 Rothman Orthopaedics 8K, a unique distance and a fantastic way to take part in the race weekend excitement. Rothman representatives will be onsite at the Expo to share stories of how Rothman helps get athletes back in the game.
Philadelphia Marathon Weekend officials are thrilled to announce Nemours Children’s as the title partner for the 2023 Nemours Children’s Run. This new partnership opens up opportunities to engage with and promote whole child health in the local communities. Visit the Nemours Children’s Zone at the Expo where you can register your little ones for the Nemours Children’s Run taking place on Saturday, November 18. The Nemours Children’s Zone will feature caricature artists, arts & crafts, and balloon animals.
The Nemours Children’s Run features short-distance, and non-competitive events for youngsters five years to 12 years of age. Each age group will enjoy dashes, half-mile or full-mile distances on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway on Saturday, November 18. In addition to the races, there will be family fun with a rock-climbing wall, bounce zone, obstacle course, face painting, and more!

As the Official Auto and Pace Car of Philadelphia Marathon Weekend, Ford’s most electrifying products such as the Mustang Mach-E® SUV and the F-150 Lightning® will lead the athletes throughout the City of Philadelphia in all three major race events.

The Philadelphia Marathon Weekend, now in its 30th year, has grown tremendously since the first race in 1994. What started as a small local event of just 1,500 participants has become one of the top 10 marathons in the country. The course guides participants through a unique experience of centuries of history and architecture, diverse and lively neighborhoods, and remarkable views throughout Fairmount Park and along the Schuylkill River.
