MISSION VIEJO, Calif. – Treat Public Relations, the endurance sports industry’s premier public relations partner, has welcomed Anna Gimre to their team. As a PR Specialist, Gimre will play a key role in executing the strategic media relations plans that earn Treat PR clients valuable press coverage for their events.

Prior to joining Treat PR, Gimre has been a member of public relations agencies, held in-house PR roles and provided freelance support. Her experience spans a variety of industries including tech, events and sports. Gimre has also worked internationally with a Barcelona-based brand. Gimre’s skillset stretches beyond media relations, generating results for her clients and companies through social media, content marketing, event planning and more.
Gimre’s understanding of the sport of running comes from her collegiate years in “Tracktown USA”, Eugene, Ore. There, she spent time working with local organizations to assist with local running and track and field events. Gimre’s work with Treat PR brings her back to the running space and has allowed her to reorient her career back to sports.
Gimre’s passion for sports started at a young age. She grew up a multi-sport athlete and has always been drawn to the communities surrounding sports. During her college years, Gimre was a member of the 2021 Championship Women’s Intramural Soccer Team.
Gimre is a graduate of the University of Oregon, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations and Minor in Sports Business. She is a member of the Orange County chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. She currently resides in Southern California.
