Ashton Kutcher, Ellie Kemper, Amy Robach, T.J. Holmes, Matt James, Tiki Barber, and Claire Holt among the celebrities to run in the TCS New York City Marathon

 

New York, October 24, 2022 – New York Road Runners (NYRR) today announced its celebrity lineup for the TCS New York City Marathon on November 6. The marathon annually attracts some of the brightest stars across sports, entertainment, television, and lifestyle.

 

Big Hollywood names and luminaries will be taking on this year’s marathon to support impactful causes and charities. Actor Ashton Kutcher will make his marathon debut and run in support of his charity, Thorn, a nonprofit dedicated to defending children from online sexual abuse. Ellie Kemper is renowned for her roles in The Office and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. She will run in her first New York City Marathon with the aim to raise funds for The Brotherhood Sister Sol. The Boston Children’s Hospital will be supported by The Vampire Diaries’ and The Originals’ Claire Holt. Additionally, the star of The Walking Dead and the film The Eternal’s Lauren Ridloff will be running in support of PS 347, a New York City public school serving deaf, hard-of-hearing, CODA, and hearing students.

 

Several television anchors and personalities will once again take on the marathon including the co-hosts of ABC News’ GMA3: What You Need to Know Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes. Avid runner Robach encouraged her co-host to take up her passion for running, and Holmes will be participating in his first marathon. Producer and host of MTV’s Catfish: The TV Show Nev Schulman will run in his sixth New York City Marathon. Stars of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette will return to the marathon including Matt James and Zac Clark.

 

New York Giants former running back Tiki Barber will continue his streak by returning for his eighth New York City Marathon.
