We are thrilled to announce that the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (T2T) has joined Running USA as a Foundation Member and will be participating in the Running USA 2025 Industry Conference, held in Louisville, KY, from February 2-4. This event brings together leaders from the running community to connect, collaborate, and share insights about the industry.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is dedicated to honoring the sacrifice of FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller and all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. The Foundation supports American heroes and their families by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children. Additionally, we build adaptive smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. Our mission extends to eradicating veteran homelessness through the construction of veteran’s villages and management of comprehensive service programs.
With over 80 Run, Walk, and Climb events across the nation, including our iconic NYC 5K that retraces Stephen Siller’s run through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to Ground Zero, we strive to raise awareness and funds for these critical causes.
Matt Memoli, Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships & Community Relations for Tunnel to Towers, shared his excitement about the upcoming conference: “Participating in the Running USA 2025 Industry Conference is a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with the broader running community and showcase the impactful work we do at Tunnel to Towers. Our endurance events are not just races; they are powerful expressions of support and solidarity for our heroes and their families.”
We look forward to engaging with other participants and sharing our mission with a wider audience. Learn more about our work and how you can get involved at https://t2t.org.
