2020 Virtual WFPS Run

The WFPS RUN 9th Annual Virtual Run will take place from Thursday, October 1st to Saturday, October 31st.

Race Kit Pick Up Details

We have two plans currently in motion for on Saturday, November 14th from 8:00am to 6:00pm at the RBC Convention Centre.

In either scenario, the WFPS RUN committee are working with our venue partners to ensure that we have a safe, responsible COVID careful pick-up in place that meets all provincial guidelines.

We thank you for your patience and we will update all participants when we have finalized details.

If you are unable to pick up your kit that day, please consider asking a friend or family member to pick up for you.  We will only be offering this one-day kit pick up event in 2020.

Revolving Aid Stations

WFPS Run Committee and Ambassadors will be popping back up at our usual water station spot at Wellington Cres + Waverley St from 9:00am – 12:00pm on the following dates:

  • Sunday, October 4th

  • Sunday, October 18th

  • Sunday, October 26th

We will be handing out sealed bottles of water and Gu Gels.

We will be following all rules and regulations set out by the Government of Manitoba.  All WFPS Run members at the aid station will be wearing masks and will be sanitizing between each runner.

Please know that we take the safety and wellbeing of our community and runners very seriously.

You are more then welcome to leave any of your personal bottles, nutrition, run gear, keys, etc in safe keeping at our aid station while you run during the station hours.

Take us along on your virtual runs and tag us in all your social media using @wfpsrun and the hashtag #OWNOCTOBER on your stories and posts.

At the end of each week we will give away a $150 gift certificate to a local partner of the WFPS RUN.

Uploading your Results

Once you’ve completed your race distance, follow these steps below to upload your results to Active.com

  1. Click this link to upload your results:

  1. Submit your result by entering your registration number and finish time, and uploading proof of completion (e.g. a screenshot of your tracking app or photo of your GPS watch)

  2. Click “Submit Results” and you’re done!
